The Centre for Homeownership, in partnership with UNC School of Law and Orange County Justice United will be holding a free foreclosure prevention workshop.

February 21st, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
at United Church of Chapel Hill,

Attorneys from the UNC School of Law Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic and Housing Counselors certified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development will:
- Describe the foreclosure process and timeline
- Provide information on ways to avoid foreclosure
- Discuss available local resources to help you through foreclosure and match you up with the best options for your particular situation

The workshop will include short presentations on the basics of the housing and legal aspacts of foreclosure by the the Director of the Centre for Homeownership and the Supervisor of the UNC Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic.  Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for one-on-one time with an attorney or housing counselor at special stations according to the nature of your foreclosure situation.
